Lack of space in the Scrapstore making social distancing difficult. Staff, customers, volunteers and visitors all at risk of infection.  Implement an appointment system for customers.

Stock Handling Staff, customers, volunteers and visitors at risk of infection from touching contaminated stock which has been picked up and put back by customers. Encourage customers not to touch anything they do not intend to purchase, where possible.

Staff, customers, and volunteers are at risk of infection if someone visits the site while feeling unwell. Instruct all staff members to isolate at home for 7 days following Government guidelines if they feel unwell.

Request that customers do not visit the Scrapstore while feeling unwell.

Co-operate with Track and Trace system if requested.

Spread of infection by asymptomatic staff members/

Staff, customers and volunteers are at risk of infection from anyone on site who is infected yet not displaying symptoms. Instruct staff members/volunteers to isolate at home if a member of their household has tested positive for COVID19 – refer to Government guidelines.

Instruct staff members, volunteers, visitors and customers to practice good hand hygiene – use signage.

Make hand sanitiser available throughout building.
