Welcome to our Scrapstore, full of art and craft supplies!

The Scrapstore is an Aladdin’s cave full of art and craft supplies saved from landfill. All the materials are surplus stock, leftovers or preloved items, donated by members of the public and businesses alike. Our stock is always changing, so there is guaranteed to be something new every time!

We have everything from paint, paper and card to fabric and haberdashery, to beads, yarn, leather and glass jars, tiles, corks, and stationery. Plus much, much more!

At Crow Recycling we are passionate about supporting our community. The Scrapstore is intended as a low cost resource, helping make the arts accessible to as many people as possible and providing a hub for crafting socially and bringing people together.

We are a membership store, although you are very welcome to come along and browse before deciding to join. Membership costs £10 for a year, and we welcome group memberships, particularly for community groups, schools, nurseries, students and families.

All items in the Scrapstore are very low priced and some items such as elastic bands, small cardboard tubes, plastic punched pockets, bottle tops and assorted tubs are available to members free of charge.

Drop-In Craft Workshops

On Saturday open mornings we work with some fabulously creative, talented volunteers to hold drop-in craft workshops. They are open to anyone who wants to try out a new craft in a relaxed setting. We want the workshops to be accessible to all, so there is no need to book, and they are subsidised to just £5 per person to cover materials and tuition, although we welcome any donation you are able to make, as this helps us keep doing the work we do in our community! The crafts vary depending on volunteer availability – we update Facebook with the drop-in details for each Saturday event. For more information:

  • Email us at info@crowrecycling.co.uk
  • Message us on our Facebook page ‘Crow Recycling Scrapstore’
  • Call us on 02476 552444; or
  • Pop in to the Scrapstore at Crow Recycling, Sparkbrook Street, Coventry, CV1 5LB

All materials, tuition and refreshments are provided at our workshops. Places are limited, so we operate a first come, first served policy.
