A big thank you from everyone at Crow to Hereward College media students
who made promotional videos for Crow as an end of term project.
Links to the videos are now on Crow’s website and social media accounts
and being added to fundraising applications where video is needed.
Office manager Lucy Lynch said: “We know visitors to our website
appreciate a good quality video explaining what we do. As well as that
the charitable trusts and foundations who are kind enough to help fund
what we do are increasingly asking for videos as part of our funding
applications.
“We love shouting about the impact Crow has but when it comes to making
videos we are short on time, expertise and expensive editing software.
We tend to rely on volunteers to create videos about Crow so we were
delighted when Hereward College media students offered to help.”
The students and their lecturers visited Crow to find out what we needed
and get some ideas. Then they went back to college creating scripts for
voice overs and a plan for each segment.
A few sessions using the college’s editing equipment and the videos were
ready.
The students submitted the videos as an end of year assignment. Everyone
at Crow thinks they deserve top marks.
